Daily Journal Pictures

Some of our favorite time (besides math, ew.) is spent journaling. 

Each day Mara works on a Proverbs page. 

She uses illustrations to help her memorize the verse. 

She also does journaling pages for other topics she is learning about as well. We use bible verses for copy work, memorization and writing practice, while the multi-topic journal pages are a chance for Mara to gain confidence in working independently by sounding out words and processing the information she has been learning about during the week.

In the above picture, Mara thought rainbow colored curtains would look 

rather nice hanging up at the Coliseum.
