Create a print out or buy a book of his work. (Amazon Kindle complete works available online for free.) Have Mara memorize 3 poems, 1 of my selection and 2 of her choice, in 2 weeks for presenting to a family audience.
During this two week period, Mara should also write one piece of original poetry, Wadsworth inspired, as well as a short autobiographical piece on the poet. Both writing assignments will give her opportunities to write in stages. She should be prepared to recite her own poem as well as read her poet report aloud.
If this is a popular exercise, she can memorize 3 more poems for presentation with a shortened time frame with no additional writing assignments for this poet.
