Week 19: Jan. 30 - Feb. 4

Reading: continue the song of Roland. The Book of God: The Covenant, Moses. Independent reading: The Lion, the witch, and the wardrobe 1:20 Sunday. :40 Monday, :40 tuesday, :60 Wednesday



Writing: Write 3 letters to friends or family.



Spelling: words with wh and ch.



Think along: Rainforests. Writing Assignment: Use a writer's web to write about a place you like, then use your ideas to write a paragraph.



Grammar: Capitalizing the days of the week. Print and Cursive



Cursive: the letter w



Science: plan garden space, journal entry about terrarium changes.



Mathematics: Checking Subtraction by using Addition. I remember how much work this seemed like to me when I was young. How I hated it. Tuesday Timed math: facts and differences less than 19. Wednesday: x's table 0,1, 2, only because Mara asked and she's done such a great job with everything else.

History: China- week 3

    Projects: Make a Paper Dragon Toy.

                   Flag Garland. This is so cool. We are drawing and coloring paper flags, then attaching them to string as we learn about different countries.

Art: Make paper lanterns for light festival, make night sky silhouette with fireworks.

Latin: lesson 19: Latin possessives







Catechism: Select passage for memorization
